Wireless Interest Group (WIG), a MIT Visionary Wireless "Think Tank"

To further solidify MIT and Sloan's leadership in business technology management, a group of us have formed WIG - a "grassroots" group of business school, engineering, and other students, and professionals who have relevant telecom and wireless backgrounds, whether it be technical, strategic, or general interest and experience.

The goal of MIT WIG is to become the leading-edge forum to discuss, learn, and keep abreast of technological trends and developments in the wireless industry. The intent is NOT to infringe on proprietary intellectual capital, but rather to study technology trends with a business focus. Members will collaborate to write white papers and develop other resources for the group's own use and education. The group hopes to provide it's members with an avenue and forum to turn their wireless ideas into commercial initiatives.

MIT WIG will become, with your participation, the leading "think tank" on the subject of wireless technology and trends. Similar to how SIG groups formed when the PC first came onto the scene.

If you're interested in joining WIG, please email your resume and a one-paragraph description of how you can contribute to, and benefit from, membership in the group: WIG@sloan.mit.edu. This filtering process will ensure everyone in participation has a vested interest in making the group all it can be.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
